Who We Are

whoweareMedia Done Responsibly (MDR) is a media arts education program that recognizes the unique and positive contributions of all cultures to advance society. The personal and political power of disenfranchised communities to embed this contribution is compromised by stereotypical, degrading and violent media portrayals that dehumanize individuals within these communities. Through its 3-pillar model of media literacy, production, and advocacy, MDR advances music, film, literary, visual and performing art that reflects the full humanity of diverse cultures.
